The National Weather Service issued a tornado warning in Lagrange County, Mich. Wednesday evening at 9:21. The warning ended at 9:45. At the time of this posting ABC57 had a crew on the way to that area. ABC57 meteorologist Tom Coomes says the warning was radar indicated.

Severe storms have ripped across Michiana most of the day, dumping several inches of rain and fueling strong winds that knocked down trees and power lines.

Several thousand people were without power at the time of this posting.
