Town of Akron awarded $750,000 grant for wastewater project

Town of Akron AKRON, Ind. -- The Town of Akron announced they have been awarded a $750,000 grant from the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs (OCRA) to support an upcoming wastewater infrastructure project.
This marks the second OCRA grant our community has received in the last two years — a tremendous accomplishment and a testament to the importance of investing in Akron’s future.
The funds will help the town to continue improving utility infrastructure and ensuring safe, reliable service for residents.
