Toxicology and autopsy results for Chrystal Reyes released

The St. Joseph County Coroner released further details from Chrystal Reyes' autopsy. Her body was found in an SUV in the St. Joseph River on Tuesday, March 17.

Reyes' cause of death was drowning.

Her manner of death is undetermined.

The toxicology tests revealed minimal signs of alcohol and no drugs.

Reyes disappeared in December along with her boyfriend, 31-year-old Nick Sams.

Sams' body was found in the river just a few yards from the SUV where Reyes' body was found on March 21.

Sams' cause of death was also drowning.
