High temperatures will drop quickly into the teens by midweek, with subzero wind chills at times. Temperatures are expected to rebound to near-normal levels by the end of the week, with highs reaching the 30s. Lake-effect snow showers are anticipated on Monday, primarily affecting southwestern Michigan counties. Another round of lake-effect snow is expected on Tuesday. As temperatures return to normal, rain chances will also reappear in the forecast. Colder temperatures are likely to return the following week.
