Traffic Alert and Boil Water Advisory for Goshen

GOSHEN, Ind. -- City of Goshen water crews are responding to a water main break near the Best Western Inn at the intersection of U.S. 33 East and Plymouth Avenue.

Motorists should avoid the area and seek alternate routes while crews make repairs, and traffic delays should be expected. 

To complete repairs, water service will be temporarily shut off beginning at approximately 3 p.m. for properties from 900 to 1350 Lincolnway East, including Park 33 Apartments, between Plymouth Avenue and Fairfield Avenue.

A precautionary boil water advisory will take effect when water service is restored. Residents in the affected area should boil all water used for drinking and cooking for five minutes before use until the advisory is lifted. Water remains safe for showering and flushing toilets.
