Training course for teachers to spot shooters

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The barrage of school shootings in recent history has one Ohio school turning the teachers into students.

Teachers in Columbus, Ohio are taking professional courses about how to spot a shooter and stop him.

A study by the Secret Service shows school shootings are rarely impulsive acts and are often planned out giving teachers early warning signs.

"If you look at all of these different tragedies, we're beginning to learn some things about," said Mike CeWine, Attorney General.

School administrators hope they will never need to use these new skills but hope they can help spot classroom problems before they turn into tragedies.
