Trampoline stolen from South Bend family’s yard

A family says their trampoline was taken from their yard while they were sleeping last weekend.

Heather Pollard says when she went to bed Saturday night her trampoline was still in her home’s yard in the 400 block of Birdsell St. But, when she woke up Sunday morning it was gone.

The 12-foot enclosed trampoline was a big investment for Pollard, one that meant a lot to her children.

“I work very hard to make sure I am able to get my kids what they want and all my daughter bugged me for around Christmas time was a trampoline,” said Pollard.

Pollard filed a report with South Bend Police and is hoping someone will come forward with information.

“I’m hoping that the thieves are caught. Not only for me but for others in the neighborhood,” said Pollard.
