SOUTH BEND, IND. -- Dispatch has confirmed that a transformer fire has started at 3601 E. Edison Road, right beside Save-A-Lot.

Edison and Hickory roads are currently blocked off.

The call came in just after 4 a.m.

We have a crew on the scene and will provide the latest details as they come in.
