Transpo hosting two days of open houses for available positions

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The South Bend Public Transportation Corporation announced they will be hosting open houses for job seekers to attend on Thursday and Monday.

Transpo’s Employment Open House will be hosted at the Emil Reznik Administration, Maintenance and Operations Facility, 1401 South Lafayette Boulevard.

Job seekers can attend an open house at this location on Thursday from 10 a.m. to noon and on Monday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Transpo is looking to immediately hire people in positions for:

• Part & Full Time Fixed Route Bus Operators
• Part & Full Time Access Van Operators
• Full Time Mechanics
• Full Time Service Line
• Full Time Administrative Coordinator
• Full Time Director of Marketing

Anyone attending the open house will be able to learn about these positions, view compensation and benefits packages, and begin the application and interview process.

Transpo will assist qualified candidates in obtaining their CDL over the course of the training process.

Face masks will be required and social distance measures will be in effect at the open house.
