Travel advisories in effect for parts of Indiana

ST.JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- St.Joseph and Starke counties are under a travel watch while Marshall, Fulton, Elkhart, Kosciusko and La Porte counties are under an advisory.

According to the Indiana Department of Transportation, a travel watch means that you should only travel to and from work or in an emergency situation. A travel advisory means that some areas are hazardous and you should use caution if driving.

Marshall, Fulton, Elkhart, Kosciusko and La Porte Counties are all under a travel advisory at this time.
