Travel advisories issued for most Michiana counties

The snow that continues to fall across our area is causing dangerous driving conditions in Michiana.

Travel Advisories have been issued for St. Joseph, La Porte, Marshall, Kosciusko and Fulton counties. That means you should use extreme caution when traveling.

In Elkhart County, the Sheriff's Department responded to at least 14 crashes and several slide-offs since 1:00 a.m.

The La Porte County Sheriff's Office says north-south county roads in the northwest part of the county are starting to drift. Deputies have responded to five vehicle crashes and four slide-offs, but no injuries have been reported.
