Multiple Indiana counties have been placed under travel advisories by emergency management agencies due to inclement weather.

Marshall County has been placed on a watch local travel status level. At this level, county emergency management agencies recommend only essential travel, such as to and from work, or during emergency situations.

It is also recommended that emergency action plans for businesses, schools, government agencies, and other organizations should be put into place at the “watch” level.

Elkhart, Fulton, Kosciusko, La Porte, Pulaski and Starke counties are under the advisory local travel status level. This is the lowest level of traffic status levels, but individuals should use caution and avoid hazardous areas.
