MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- One person was transported to the hospital with injuries after a tree fell on them at the Eberhart-Petro Golf Course in Mishawaka, according to dispatch.
The incident happened around 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
One of the city workers was doing routine maintenance and tree trimming around the golf course when a large branch or portion of a tree fell onto the employee.
It is unclear how severe the worker's injuries are currently.
