Trial to begin for former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick

DETROIT – Thursday marks the start of the federal corruption trial against former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick.
He's charged with bribery, extortion and running a criminal enterprise. Officials said he along with three others rigged water contracts and extorted city contractors.
All four men deny the charges.
