Sunny today, but expect a wetter and warmer weekend
As a quick system moves through, we’ll see rain change over to snow. Not much will stick during the day but light accumulations are possible tonight from lake effect snow that develops. Lake effect snow showers continue into Tuesday with portions of LaPorte Co. possibly seeing up to 2”. There is a chance for a quick light snow Wednesday morning, otherwise it’s a pretty quiet day. Temperatures remain cold through this week but it looks like we brighten up over the weekend with a warm up next week.
Today: Rain turn mix then snow, cloudy, high of 36.
Tonight: Isolated lake effect snow, mostly cloudy, low of 23.
Tuesday: Mostly cloudy with lake effect snow showers, high of 32.
Wednesday: Chance of AM snow, mostly cloudy, high of 30.
