Two airlifted to hospital after head-on crash in LaGrange

LAGRANGE, Ind.—Two drivers were airlifted to the hospital Friday after a LaGrange man drifted into oncoming traffic on CR 400 S.

According to the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department, 67-year-old Duane Donahue was driving a Toyota Camry west on CR 400 near 875 E. when he drifted into eastbound traffic .

Donahue struck 91-year-old Josephine Householder of Wolcottville head-on; as a result both drivers were airlifted to Parkview Regional Medical Center.

Authorities say both drivers were wearing seat belts and that the crash remains under investigation.
