Two arrested, $60,000 worth of merchandise recovered in Berrien County

BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. – Two people were arrested and approximately $60,000 worth of merchandise was recovered during a breaking and entering incident Friday morning, the Berrien County Sheriff’s Office reported.

At 1:35 a.m., police were dispatched to a warehouse in the 8500 block of Gast Road after the owner saw people inside the building via surveillance cameras.

The two alleged suspects, a 35-year-old man and a 39-year-old man, both from the Chicago area, were taken to the Berrien County Jail on the charges of breaking and entering with intent to commit a larceny.
