Two arrested after attempted homicide in St. Joseph Michigan

ST. JOSEPH, Mich., --- Two people are behind bars after what officials are calling an attempted homicide on Saturday.

The St. Joseph Public Safety Department says officers responded to a call for shots fired on the 1000 block of Church Street in St. Joseph Michigan.

When police arrived, they say a residence had been shot several times.

They found two victims inside the home uninjured.

Through an investigation two people of interest were identified as 38-year-old Carlton Antoni Kelly and 31-year-old Chantal baker.

They were taken into custody around 4:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon and will be arraigned on Monday at Berrien County 5th District Court
