Two arrested after pointing gun at bouncer in Mishawaka

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- The Mishawaka Police Department reports officers responded to the Pheonix Bar at 101 Lincolnway East around 1:50 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2, on the report of someone pointing a gun at the bouncer.

The report states two men were denied entry due to being intoxicated and belligerent. 

Police say one of the men, identified as a 25-year-old from South Bend, then pulled a gun and pointed it at one of the security guards/bouncers. 

The man was arrested on a felony charge of pointing a firearm at another person.

The second man, identified as a 27-year-old from South Bend, was also arrested.  He was arrested for public intoxication, disorderly conduct, and resisting law enforcement. 

No one was injured in the incident.
