Two arrested following armed robbery in Roseland

ROSELAND, Ind. - Two people were arrested in connection with an armed robbery at an apartment complex in Roseland Tuesday evening, according to the Roseland Police Department. 

At 6:40 p.m., police were called to the University Edge Apartments for the incidents.

The victim told police he was trying to sell a firearm and was meeting the buyer when two males pulled out their own guns and stole the one the victim was selling, pointing and firing a weapon as they left the scene. 

Police tracked the suspects to a nearby residence where they were arrested. During a search warrant, officers found the stolen firearm and other guns possibly used in the robbery.
