UPDATE: Two arrested for alleged child neglect, animal cruelty

Elkhart County Jail GOSHEN, Ind. -- Two suspects are facing charges for alleged child neglect, as well as their alleged role in one of the largest single-day intakes ever for the Elkhart County Humane Society.
Thomas and Laura Duncan face official charges following a search warrant executed this past Monday, April 27. Officers and welfare workers entered the home at the 100 block of Roxbury Park, and removed three children, 23 dogs, and two cats. A 26th animal was found dead in a trash bag.
They both face an initial hearing on May 5 at 1:05 p.m.
