Two arrested in separate Benton Harbor cocaine-trafficking cases
BENTON HARBOR, Mich. – The Southwest Enforcement Team (SWET) and other officials made two separate arrests involving cocaine in Benton Harbor.
After a four-week cocaine distribution investigation, officials arrested Bruce Miles, 32, on July 31st.
SWET, Michigan State Police, and Berrien County Sheriff’s Department located approximately 50 grams of crack and powder
cocaine at the 200 block of Hull Street.
Miles was arrested and booked at the Berrien County Jail for the preliminary charges of:
- Possession with intent to deliver cocaine
- Possession with intent to deliver crack cocaine
- Maintaining a drug house
SWET, MSP, Berrien County Sheriff’s Department, and Berrien County Tactical Response Unit located Nathan Magee, 44, after a search warrant at the 800 block of Superior Street.
Officials found packaged cocaine, a shotgun, a handgun that may have been stolen, and other drug trafficking related items.
Magee was arrested and booked at the Berrien County Jail for the preliminary charges of:
- Possession with intent to deliver cocaine
- Possession of a firearm by a felon
- Possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony
- Possession of ammunition by a felon
- Maintaining a drug house
The two cases are not related, according to SWET.
