Two barges loaded with natural gas explode in Ala.

MOBILE, Ala. — Two barges loaded with natural gas are burning on Alabama's Mobile River.

Officials say that that three people were burned in the blast. They are recovering in the hospital Thursday morning.

Police say there were at least six explosions.

The U.S. Coast Guard has set up a one-mile safety zone around the barges.

Fire crews are waiting for the fires to burn out.
