Police investigating a two vehicle crash in Cass County

MILTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- Cass County Sheriff Deputies are investigating a two vehicle crash at the intersection of US 12 and Bell Road in Milton Township Friday around 4 p.m. The initial investigation found Briana Shepard was trying to turn left on US 12 from Bell Road when she hit the vehicle being driven by Richard Doerscher in the intersection. 

Shepard and her two kids were checked at the scene. 

Doerscher and his passenger were not injured. 

Alcohol and drugs are considered not be factors in the crash. 

The incident is still being investigated.
