Thousands without power due to high wind gusts
The first of two fall clippers slides through Wednesday. The morning will start gloomy with showers possible then skies clear into Thursday. The second round approaches Friday, warming the area near 80 and bringing a better chance of widespread rain Friday night into early Saturday. The big story after that is the heat to start October, highs could make a run at 90.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, breezy. High of 70.
Friday: Increasing clouds, PM showers / storms. High of 78.
