ELKHART, Ind. -- Elkhart Police are investigating two stabbing incidents, with one suspect already in custody.
Police responded to the 1200 block of South Main Street in Elkhart at about 5:20 p.m. following a 911 call to dispatch reporting a stabbing with injuries.

Over an hour later, Elkhart Police responded to another reported stabbing, this time at the Baymont Inn, and a suspect has been arrested.
The call came into the Elkhart City 911 at approximately 6:40 p.m., officers and medics were dispatched to the Brittany Court location, where officers made contact with a 39-year-old female who suffer from minor cuts, who declined medical treatment.
