Two hospitalized after home invasion

SOUTH BEND, Ind. — Two people are in the hospital after a home invasion on the city's northwest side.
St. Joseph County Police say an elderly man and a 46-year-old man were taken to the hospital after a man made his way into their home at 29th Street and S.R. 23 early Monday morning.
Police are unsure exactly what was stolen.
They say the man's injuries are non-life threatening.
Authorities add they don't believe the invasion was random but targeted.
