SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Fire crews are responding to multiple house fires in the same location Wednesday afternoon on Johnson Street in South Bend.
South Bend Firefighters responded to a call of one fire but found two residences smoking upon arrival.
"This afternoon, at 4 p.m., the South Bend Fire Department was dispatched to fires at two neighboring homes in the 1200 block of Johnson Street," fire officials said. "Both homes were vacant, and no injuries were reported. The fires were both under control within 15 minutes."
Both fires are under investigation.
