Two injured in Cass County crash Friday

CASS COUNTY, Mich. – Two people were injured in a crash on Friday morning, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office reported.

At 9:30 a.m., deputies responded to a personal injury traffic crash at the intersection of Decatur Road and Fox Street in Penn Township.

An investigation of the crash discovered that a pick-up tried to turn left onto Fox Street and collided with a southbound van, according to reports.

Both drivers were injured in the crash and taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Both drivers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash and alcohol was not a factor, reports said.

This crash remains under investigation.
