Two injured in vehicle, motorcycle crash on County Line Road in Watervliet Township
BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. - Two people were seriously injured in a crash involving a vehicle and motorcycle on County Line Road Wednesday evening, according to the Berrien County Sheriff's Office.
At 6:43 p.m., deputies were called to the intersection of County Line Road and Hagar Shore Road in Watervliet Township for reports of a crash with injuries.
A Harley-Davison motorcycle that was traveling east on Hagar Shore Road had the right of way and struck a Kia as it entered the intersection with County Line Road, reports said.
According to the investigation, the Kia was traveling north on County Line Road and failed to stop at the stop sign at Hagar Shore Road.
After the impact, the Kia ran off the road and overturned, coming to a rest on its roof in a ditch.
The motorcyclist was ejected from the bike and landed in a field.
Both the driver of the Kia and the motorcyclist were taken to the hospital for serious injuries.
This incident is still under investigation.
