Two juveniles injured in off-road vehicle crash
MENTONE, Ind. – Two teenagers were injured after the 15-year-old operator of an off-road vehicle lost control and ended up in a pond Friday evening.
Indiana Conservation Officers say emergency crews were dispatched to an area in the 6000 block of West Shilling Road where they were told two juveniles were injured in an accident.
Officers learned a 15-year-old male was operating an off-road vehicle with a 16-year-old male passenger.
According to the DNR, the driver lost control and rolled the vehicle over an embankment into a pond, where the vehicle submerged.
