Two killed in crash on US20 in Michigan City identified

Two people were killed in a crash involving a Nissan Altima and a semi, according to Michigan City Police.
The accident happened just before 11 p.m. Monday evening in the 700 block of E. US 20.
According to police, the Nissan was traveling westbound on US20 when it crossed the center line and collided with a semi.
The driver of the semi was not injured.
The two occupants of the Nissan were pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver was identified as 26-year-old Brendan Blue and the passenger was identified as 25-year-old Whitley Ann Nevorski.
The investigation is still ongoing.
