Two men allegedly pulled guns on a driver during parking dispute
ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- Two men have been arrested for allegedly pointing a gun at a driver over a dispute about where the driver parked, according to the probable cause affidavit.
South Bend Police were dispatched to the 1100 block of N. Bendix Drive on January 7, around 11 p.m. after the victim called 9-1-1.
The victim told police two men pulled guns on him because he parked in a no parking area.
The victim gave police a description of the two men, who were identified later as Erik Lenoir and Eric Logan Jr, according to the probable cause affidavit.
Officers detained both men and retrieved a handgun from each suspect, according to reports.
During the investigation, officers viewed surveillance footage from the business. Police said the video showed both Lenoir and Logan point guns at the victim, according to the probable cause affidavit.
Lenoir has been charged with pointing a firearm and unlawful possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon.
While searching Logan, officers said they found several pills later identified as ecstasy, reports said.
Logan has been charged with felon carrying a handgun, pointing a firearm, possession of controlled substance, and carrying a handgun without a license.
