Two men injured in shooting on W. Elwood Avenue

SOUTH BEND, Ind.— The South Bend Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened late Sunday night.

According to police, a shooting occurred in the 1900 block of W. Elwood Avenue just before midnight on March 29. 

Within 10 minutes of the shooting, two men walked into the emergency room and were treated for gunshot wounds before being released.

The South Bend Investigative Bureau responded to the scene and has taken over the investigation.
