Two people sent to hospital after crash involving semi-truck on CR 17

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind.—Two people were injured in a crash on Monday morning in Elkhart.
Police responded to a crash involving a semi-truck and an SUV around 8 a.m. on Monday at CR 17 near Hoffman Street.
Two people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, police said.
The road near the crash is closed while crews work to remove the semi-truck.
Avoid the area.
