Two railroad crossings to be repaired in St. Joseph County

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. – The Canadian National Railroad plans to repair two of their railroad crossings in St. Joseph County beginning Monday, May 4th. The repairs will cause road closures and detours which are expected to last two weeks each.

The first repair begins Monday, May 4th, at the crossing on Johnson Road between Peach Road and Crumstown Highway. This is expected to last until May 15th.

Once the Johnson Road repair is finished, the crew will move directly to the crossing at Quince Road. The repair is expected to start May 18th and last until June 1st.

All dates are dependent on weather.

Someone is a little confused. Johnson and Peach do not intersect. There is one crossing on Johnson, it's between Crumstown and Tamarack. If it's that crossing, it's bad timing due to other construction in the area already forcing detours. What do you expect, though, they can't even get the location right.
