MISHAWAKA -- Two people were taken to the hospital after an early-morning house fire Thursday in Mishawaka.
Crews were called to the 600 block of West Battell Street just after midnight Thursday. People at the scene told ABC57 that the fire was in the basement of the home, but the whole house had smoke damage.
Right now, it's not clear how badly the two people were hurt, or how the fire started.
