South Bend community donates blood at Grace UMC
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Five females were injured in a shooting early Sunday morning along Kirkwood Avenue in Bloomington.
According to WRTV in Indianapolis, two of those females, ages 18 and 22, are from South Bend.
The eighteen-year-old was hurt by embedded bullet fragments in the ankle and shin, and the twenty-two-year-old had embedded bullet fragments in the back of the thigh.
Their identities have not been released at this time, and it's unclear if any of the victims were Indiana University students.
Bloomington Police say four of the five victims were treated at an area hospital and later released, with one victim admitted for further treatment.
Authorities have not identified any suspects at this time.
