Two suspects in custody after high-speed chase across state line

LAGRANGE COUNTY, Ind. -- Two suspects are in custody after a high-speed car chase that started in Michigan ends in LaGrange County.

Police attempted to pull over the suspect vehicle Saturday near the intersection of Fawn River and Balk roads in Michigan.

The driver did not pull over and instead took off, allegedly speeding over 100 miles per hour.

The vehicle crossed the Michigan-Indiana state line before coming to a stop and surrendering.

A 53-year-old man from Sturgis and his female passenger, a 48-year-old from Three Rivers, were both booked into LaGrange County Jail on multiple drug-related charges.

Both suspects face charges in Michigan for fleeing and eluding.
