Two-vehicle crash injures one in Elkhart County, driver cited

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- The Elkhart County Sheriff's Office reports deputies responded to S.R. 15 north of C.R. 46 about three miles south of Goshen's city limits around 12:45 p.m. Wednesday, for a two-vehicle crash.

The report states a 2010 Chrysler Town and Country, driven by 45-year-old Jennifer Langer of Nappanee, was stopped behind a 2006 Lincoln Towncar, driven by Robert Warble of Goshen, on S.R. 15 facing south at the intersection.

When the light turned green, Warble began to accelerate.

Deputies say Langer was following too closely and made an unsafe start and accelerated into the back of Warble's car.

Warble was taken to Goshen Hospital for complaints of back pain.

Langer had complaints of back pain but refused to go to the hospital. She was cited for following too closely.

Langer's two passengers, an 8-year-old and 13-year-old, both had complaints of neck pain. Neither went to the hospital since Langer signed off for them.
