Two-vehicle crash leaves 63-year-old woman injured after driver fails to yield

CASS COUNTY, Mich. -- The Cass County Sheriff's Office reports deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of M-60 and Corey Lake Road around 11:43 a.m. Tuesday.
Authorities' investigation determined a vehicle, driven by 21-year-old Jocelyn Holdeman of Jones, Mich. woman, was traveling south on Corey Lake Road.
Deputies say at the same time a vehicle, driven by a 63-year-old Jones, Mich. woman, was traveling east on M-60 approaching Corey Lake Road.
The report states Holderman failed to yield the right of way and crashed into the other vehicle.
The 63-year-old driver was taken to Three Rivers Hospital for injuries sustained in the crash.
Both drivers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
Deputies say alcohol does not appear to be a factor in this crash.
This crash remains under investigation.
