Two-vehicle crash sends one to the hospital Monday afternoon

CASS COUNTY, Mich. -- The Cass County Sheriff's Office responded to a two-vehicle crash Monday afternoon at the intersection of U.S. 12 and Conrad Road in Milton Township around 2:53 p.m.
"The investigation showed that 64-year-old Terri Hart of LaGrange, Ind. was traveling eastbound on U.S. 12," the reports said. "Eighteen- year-old Abigail Robbins of Edwardsburg, Mich. was traveling south on Conrad Road. Robbins failed to yield when attempting to cross the intersection causing the collision."
Hart was sent by Edwardsburg Ambulance to Elkhart General Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities say both parties were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash and that drugs and alcohol are not suspected as factors in the crash.
