U93 Roofsit begins

GRANGER, Ind. -- Some local radio DJs are braving the elements to help fight child abuse.

The 16th annual U93 Roofsit kicked off Monday.

To date, Roofsit has raised nearly $2-million for local victims of child abuse.

This year the event moved to the Martin's Supermarket at Heritage Square in Granger.

"We moved over to Heritage Square this year because the one on Ironwood and 23 is under construction," said U93's morning show host Rob Sparks. "The great thing about this is we have a lot of room, safe room, where there won't be cars driving by and you can come out and really show your support."

The Roofsit continues through Friday.

If you would like to donate, you can visit them at Heritage Square or click here.
