Uber announces face masks will soon be required for both drivers and passengers

SAN FRANCISCO – Uber will soon be requiring all of its drivers as well as passengers to wear a face mask, according to company executives. The decision was made recently to require face masks for certain countries, including the United States.

According to the company, they expect to roll out this requirement in the coming weeks.

Uber is trying to get masks to their drivers as soon as they can, but supplies are limited, making things that much more difficult and slow.

In addition to a face mask, Uber is asking passengers to ride in the back seat and, if possible, open the window to improve ventilation.
