UConn basketball coach Jim Calhoun retires at 70

STORRS, Conn. -- UConn head basketball coach Jim Calhoun has announced he is retiring.
Calhoun coached the Huskies for 26 years and he led them to three national championships,
The 70-year-old is a three-time cancer survivor. UConn students said it will be sad to see the legendary leader go.
Calhoun has 873 wins in his college coaching career.
His assistant and former player, Kevin Ollie, will be the next Huskie head coach.
