Ugly Sweater Run returns to Elkhart December 2

ELKHART, Ind. - Pull your festive sweater out of the closet and head to downtown Elkhart on Saturday for the annual Ugly Sweater Run and Ugly Sweater Contest, hosted by the Elkhart Education Foundation.

Participants have the choice to run, walk or stroll the route to kick off WinterFest, a day of holiday celebrations that wraps up with a parade and tree lighting ceremony Saturday night.

The race starts at 8:30 a.m. at the NIBCO Water and Ice Park. Money raised from the event supports Elkhart Community Schools.

Click here to sign up or register in person on Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Beacon Health and Aquatics. Registration stays open until the race begins.
