Unattended pot causes small fire at Hickory Village

MISHAWAKA, Ind. — Some residents at Hickory Village apartments were waken up late Thursday night because of a small fire.
Mishawaka fire crews were called out to the apartment complex on Hickory Road to tackle a kitchen fire.
Crews were able to quickly put out the fire.
ABC57 was told someone left a pot on the stove, causing the fire.
No one was hurt.
