United Way gets hundred of heating assistance calls

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -The United Way's 211 Assistance Line has been getting around 150 calls a day.
People are asking for help with heating bills. Workers at 211 say now is the time to call and get assistance early.
The United Way also told us calling now is important because there's only so much money out there for assistance.
