United Way of Elkhart and LaGrange counties recieves $1.5M for COVID-19 relief

ELKHART, Ind.— The United Way of Elkhart and LaGrange counties is set to receive a $1.5 million grant for COVID-19 economic relief. 

The grant will be used to support working families who have been affected by the pandemic.

Funds from the grant will also go towards the United Way’s existing response efforts, including the COVID-19 Community Response Fund in Elkhart County and the Good Samaritan Fund in LaGrange County. Local non-profits are encouraged to apply for grants through these two existing funds.

The grant will be provided by a partnership between the Lilly Endowment, Inc. and the Indiana United Ways.
