National College Decision Day is pushed back this year
MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- The University Park Mall is holding a carnival in the north parking lot this weekend that will feature over 30 rides and attractions.
Organizers say this is at least the seventh-straight year with a carnival at the mall.
"All game concessions are family-oriented with prizes that are meant to be won," Media liaison Christian Carlson. "Plus, carnival food to refuel between attractions. Doesn’t a crisp caramel apple or a sugary warm elephant ear sound good right now?"
The event is free, but attendees are required to make a minimum purchase to get in the game. Also, no unaccompanied minors will be allowed it.
“We’re excited to have the family-friendly Spring Carnival back to showcase the mall and serve Mishawaka and our surrounding communities," Carlson said.
The carnival is scheduled to be open 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays and noon to 9 p.m. on weekends.
"Unlimited" Ride Wristbands are available every day for $30.
Individual Tickets are $1.50 each or buy a sheet of 50 tickets for $60. Rides require between four and six tickets each except for the Top Gun ride which requires an additional purchase, even with a wristband.
Organizers say some of the rides will have height restrictions and that there will be "no refunds under any circumstances."
